A real treasure in Mount Airy, Maryland, Fred and Carol Wilson produce some amazing wines from fruit grown on two adjoining vineyards: Liberty Tavern and Cold Friday. Their Cold Friday Gewurztraminer stands up to anything made in Alsace and their Liberty Tavern Chardonnay and Cabernet are two of the finest examples of these varieties in the US. Wonderfully accommodating, affable and personable, the Wilson family makes your visit truly memorable.
