Cappella Restaurant, Needham, MA
The tasting featured a wonderful flight of wines

The menu was again spectacular and worked very well with the wines.
We kicked things off with one of the best values in French sparklers – the Louis Bouillot Perle d’Aurore Grande Reserve, Brut, Cremant de Bourgogne

The First course

Wood Grilled Shrimp with a Hazelnut Red Pepper Romesco and Miner’s Lettuce
Paired with two lovely whites – the 2017 Domaine Henry Pellé, Vignes de Ratier, Menetou-Salon Morogues

And – the 2018 Domaine Jean-Pierre Berthenet, Tête de Cuvée, Montagny

The Second Course

Traditional Bolognese (Pork, Beef & Veal) with House Made Long Cut Fusilli
Paired with the 2019 Jean-Pierre Large Les Délys, Morgon

The Third Course

Whole Roasted Sirloin (Brandt Beef from California), Wood Grilled over Cauliflower Purée with Ramp and Roasted Carrots and a Cabernet Sauvignon Demi-Glacé
Paired with two full-throttle reds that are unbelievable values – the 2016 Chateau La Cardonne, Médoc Cru Bourgeois

And the 2018 Domaine Paul Autard, Châteauneuf du Pape

The Dessert

Imported French Macarons (Assorted Flavors) Pistachio, Mocha, Mango, and Strawberry
Paired with a superb Vin Du Naturel – the 2013 M. Chapoutier Banyuls

Such a glorious way to spend a Sunday! Cheers!
